Terms of Service

Service Description

DocToStock is a Shopify app that uses artificial intelligence to extract product and inventory data from documents — such as purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices — and sync that data directly to your Shopify store. By installing or using DocToStock, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (the merchant) and MB ŠOPITEKA ("we", "us", "our").

Acceptable Use

By using DocToStock, you agree to the following:

  • You will not upload documents containing illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content.
  • You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive source code from the DocToStock service.
  • You ensure that you have the legal right to upload and process the documents you submit.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-extracted data before syncing it to your Shopify store. DocToStock provides extraction results as-is, and you bear responsibility for any inventory errors resulting from unreviewed syncs.
  • You will not use DocToStock in a way that violates applicable laws, Shopify's Partner Program Agreement, or any third-party rights.
  • You will not attempt to circumvent page-based usage limits by combining multiple pages of content into a single image upload, manipulating image files to represent more data than a standard document page, or any other method designed to consume fewer page credits than the content warrants.

Free Plan and Usage Limits

DocToStock is currently offered free of charge. Your free plan includes:

  • 5 document pages per month (resets on the 1st of each calendar month). Usage is measured in pages, not files:
    • PDF uploads consume one page credit per page in the file.
    • Image uploads (JPG, PNG) consume one page credit per upload. Each image is expected to represent the content of a single document page, approximately A4 format.
  • Full access to document upload, AI extraction, review, and Shopify sync features.
  • Usage tracking via the Billing & Usage dashboard in the app.

No Warranty — AI Extraction is Best-Effort

The DocToStock service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI extraction results will be accurate or complete.

AI-powered document extraction is a best-effort process. Results may contain errors, omissions, or misidentified data depending on document quality, format, and complexity. You agree to review all extracted data before syncing to your Shopify store. MB ŠOPITEKA makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI extraction results and accepts no liability for inventory errors resulting from reliance on unverified extraction output.

Image uploads (JPG, PNG) are processed as a single document page. DocToStock does not warrant extraction accuracy from images that contain more content than a standard single-page document (approximately A4 format). If an image is engineered to fit more data than a typical document page, extraction results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or missing. DocToStock accepts no liability for such outcomes.

Analytics and Cookies

By using our public marketing site (doctostock.com) after providing explicit consent via the cookie consent banner, you acknowledge that DocToStock uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data about how visitors interact with the site — such as pageviews and section engagement. This analytics data is collected anonymously and is not used to identify you personally. You may withdraw your consent at any time via the Reset Cookie Settings control on our Privacy Policy page, which also describes this practice in full.

Data Processing

In the context of data protection law, you (the merchant) are the data controller for any personal data contained in the documents you upload or the store data you manage through DocToStock. MB ŠOPITEKA acts as a data processor, processing data only as necessary to deliver the DocToStock service on your behalf.

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, you also acknowledge and accept our Privacy Policy.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by uninstalling DocToStock from your Shopify admin. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify's mandatory SHOP_REDACT webhook requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MB ŠOPITEKA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to inventory errors resulting from AI extraction inaccuracies, lost profits, or loss of data.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the DocToStock service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the thirty (30) days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Lithuania.
